3/ Property for Sale in Edinburgh of the Seven Seas

As part of Tristan de Cunha, it is not allowed to purchase properties in Edinburgh of the Seven Seas unless you are one of the 260 inhabitants... The island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site so there is indeed a need of protection for private properties.

The very difficult access and very low number of tourists would in any case make it very little attractive to own a property there. So we can only advise you to go there stricly for sighseeing purposes, accomodation is affordable but be prepared for tough trecks should you wish to visit the island as the terrain is very steep!

If you have the will to move to Edinburgh of the Seven Seas, you will be amongst the few expatriates such as the Doctor and the Administrator. Even priests can only stay on the island for a short period of time.
