Macao's property boom is seemingly persisting, as the real estate prices saw a year-on-year rise of 31 percent in the second quarter. Demand for housing among the visitors, those from the Chinese mainland in particular, is likely to keep lifting luxury residential property for sale in the years to come, local real estate agents said. The booming property prices are also partly due to the rising number of the mainland Chinese approved for residence in Macao.
