Stunning views in booming ski resort

Europe's new ski boom resort
A ski resort in Europe's biggest mountain range in Europe's biggest country. Slavsk in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
These beautiful mountains end near the historic city of Lviv, with its airport and rail and road links direct to Slavsk - gateway to the Carpathians. This village and the higher ski area is growing fast; in fact, exploding with development activity. Polish and Ukrainian banks and companies, in particular, are pouring large sums into new developments. Plot prices have been shooting up in value. The secret is getting out and the rest of Europe will soon catch on.
Ukraine's first ski apartment offer
Remarkably, for a country that likes skiing, Ukraine has, until now, not provided accommodation for sale that is typical of ski resorts the world over, namely apartments. Hotels and private chalets have been the norm. This gap will soon be filled as enterprising developers, Hanroc Developments Ltd, are releasing Eagle Valley Mountain Resort, a community of 75 apartments and luxury leisure and spa centre, on a superb site with commanding views over the resort. The development occupies a commanding position right in the high ski area, with its own small private valley and mountain stream. The views are inspirational, looking down on the forested surroundings. As the community is leasing the opposite side of the valley from the government for 49 years, turning the area in to a private park and picnic area, these views will remain unspoilt.
There are a wide range of apartments, from studios to a couple of massive 200 sq.m. 4 bed penthouses. All apartments have balconies and from the leisure centre and restaurant, large South facing terraces that will make sun bathing possible even in winter! With the pure air and tumbling waters of the stream below, this will be a perfect place to rest and recuperate.
Full sized leisure centre
There are a few small health facilities in near by hotels, but none as extensive as those in Eagle Valley. Good sized swimming pool, large Ukrainian style sauna, fully equipped gymnasium, therapy rooms and other options such as Jacuzzi. Mineral water from a private local source supplies all the leisure centre and apartments. Apartment owners and their guests have free use of the facilities under the terms of their modestly priced service agreement.
Slavsk has a number of ski lifts - the nearest being just 350m from the doors of Eagle Valley, which is at over1200m elevation. Many more new lifts are planned around the location of Eagle Valley. The mountains around Slavsk offer unparalleled opportunities to enjoy one of Europe's last unspoilt natural environments. Lake Synevir, for example, is famous for its unique flora and fauna, and is only about 35 kms away.
The rental benefit
Thousands of skiers and lovers of mountain activities flock to Slavsk in season, and increasingly so in summer too. The car parks become jammed with luxury marques, reflecting the high disposable income of the Ukrainian middle and business classes. At present, there is a considerable shortage of modern accommodation. Skiers and mountain enthusiasts sometimes have to travel long distances from accommodation - even up to a 100 kms one way! Prices per night for basic no ensuite rooms are around $80! Local hotels are often booked up two seasons in advance.
Apartments in the Alps can cost over 14,000 Euros per sq. m. With little or no snow! And uncertain rental potential. Eagle Valley is offered at 990 Euros per sq.m. for lower three floors (all with stunning views) and 1090 Euros for top two floors, despite the considerable building challenge of its elevated site and expensive leisure centre. There's a great range of apartment types, from Studios at 40,000 Euros to huge 5 bedroom penthouses. Views are great from all apartments as the building is on such an elevated site.
Property is sold Freehold. No company set up required (can sign in your own name, even from abroad). No capital gains tax. Minimal buying costs.one of Europe's cheapest places to buy property.
Viewing tripPrice for 4 day viewing trip is 350 GBP or 500 Euros per person. This covers flights from UK (for other departures please ask for quote), internal flight from Kiev to Lviv and car trip to Slavsk, and 2 nights accommodation. Don't delay on reserving your apartment(s) or booking a viewing trip, as this project is generating widespread interest.
